In-depth
training and support is offered to teachers, assistant teachers and volunteers interested in the SSEHV Programme.
Although training is free, participants should be aware that a degree
of personal commitment is required. See below for details.

Course 1 : Introductory Level
(Part 1/3 of the SSEHV
Standard Diploma Course)
The
Course consists of nine one-day sessions which comprise a mixture
of presentations/lectures and experiential activities such as role play, discussion,
inner reflection, games, silent sitting and singing. Participants have an
opportunity to experience and truly understand the five human values,
as well as to learn about how SSEHV lessons are constructed around a particular
theme. The course not only provides a solid foundation for those who want
to go on to teach SSEHV to children, but it presents a powerful opportunity
for self development and personal growth. Particpants will also gain an Open College Network (OCN)/BISSE accredited certificate.
The
SSEHV Course 1: Introductory Level takes place either over nine sessions onsite in schools/training colleges on request or at other agreed venues on consecutive Saturdays
or Sundays, in the case of the Intensive Course, over nine consecutive
days during the spring, summer or Christmas holidays, The sessions are

Upon successful completion of all nine sessions of Course 1 and OCN requirements, participants will gain an OCN/BISSE accredited certificate.
Many successful participants become involved in a range of activities relating to SSEHV, including
assisting at SSEHV events and clubs, and working behind the scenes within
the British Institute of Sathya Sai Education to help run the SSEHV Programme
in the UK.
