Introduction Introduction The school has adopted six government schools and six villages for Sathya Sai Education in Human Values service activities. The school farm produces bags of maize and provides free weekly medical services and medical camps each term. The future plan of the Zambian schools is to establish a teacher training college, affiliated to the University of Zambia and to introduce computer science by 2002, as well as to construct the Ladies School science laboratory. Some of the service opportunities that the students have been involved with consist of assisting the blind, community development activities like maintaining roadside drainage, painting zebra crossings and caring for the environment. To ensure that the students receive the same message at home and at school, regular workshops are held for parents as well as training seminars for teachers. The following is the testimony of one student who has been studying at the Sathya Sai School. " The human values of Sathya Sai have greatly enlightened me. They have taught me not to steal, and to have a good attitude towards work. Discipline, character, and behaviour are the most important things at school." ~Shuko Nyirenda The Sathya Sai Schools in Zambia have become very famous and are often mentioned in the press: " To say Sathya Sai Baba private school is the best school would be an understatement. The school which is situated in Ndola, Pamodzi Township has overshadowed all schools in Zambia again. The school has been hailed by many as a success story." - Times of Zambia 12-02-96 "Sathya Sai has it all it takes to be called a miracle school. Former truants, dunces and those considered untouchable are shaped into disciplined and hardworking students. " - Times of Zambia 26-04-97 Principal:
